Biography
Prof. Thongprasom obtained her dental degree at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 1977. She completed MSc. in Oral Medicine at the University College of London, Eastman Dental Institute, UK in 1988. She achieved the highest level Professorship in Oral Medicine in 2011. She was also the founder of the Oral Diseases Group of Thailand. Currently, she is a director of the Research Unit in Oral Diseases and her research has focused on oral potentially malignant disorders. She is a member in the editorial boards of many international dentistry journals and has published over 66 peer-reviewed papers.
